Hadley Hutton’s Bird Prints

I love the work of Oregon based artist and illustrator Hadley Hutton, especially her paintings featuring birds and blossoms! Prints of them are found on her Etsy shop, right here!

Crinoline Flowers

It’s been a while since the last time I posted here and there are tones of inspiring things I want to share! To start with, I adoreĀ  the Crinoline Flowers project from the portfolio of Toronto based photographer Daryl Banks. A big thanks to Whorange for indroducing that to me!

I know I haven’t been very active here the past two weeks, but besides being kind of busy I ‘ve also spent time doing things I really enjoy. One of them was watching the ISU European Figure Skating Championships 2009, which was held in Helsinki, Finland between January 20th and 26th. I ‘ve always been admiring the ice skating athletes’ extraordinary performances and have beenĀ  fascinated by their colorful (sometimes close to kitchy) theatrical costumes. I wish I was there – I’d love to visit Finland sometime in the future!

Spring Fashion from Mango

I have already posted about how I can’t wait for spring to come, and with it the gorgeous new fashion trends like neutral tones. For those (me included) that can’t -or aren’t willing- to spend big, there are also plenty of affordable collections outthere! One of them is Mango’s collection for Spring/Summer 2009,which includes lovely comfortable outfits in neutral tones -my favorites!

As for the lovers of color, there is plenty of that as well!
